Dear DeerMan

This Guy is what started it all. I began my animal focused drawings whilst still at school. This drawing is in fact what got me my A* in Art for my A-level final Art exam! So he is very important to me and is my inspiration to carry on building up my portfolio. The story behind the concept of this series is based upon my love for animals - and also the basis for many of my other drawings and artworks. The image displays the irony of a huntsman hunting 'his own'. 'DeerMan' as I call him was sketched from a hand cut and paste collage and then brought to life using a Barclays Pen, troublesome I know but it was all I had to hand when in my exam - and I was always an extremely unorganised student. So because of this I will now have to continue the series with 'the dreaded' Barclays pen (free pens!) ...
